About Cardio P.A.R.A.D.E.
Cardio P.A.R.A.D.E. stands for Pan-African Rhythms and Danceable Exercises. In essence, the class fuses standard aerobic exercises with Pan-African dances and musical genres that typify carnival celebrations. Some of the rhythms include Soca, Samba, Hip Hop, Merengue, Salsa and Kompa. The class is always fresh, exciting and full of musical surprises.
Cardio Parade is an innovative total body workout that promotes cultural awareness through physical fitness. The infectious rhythms and moves allow you to rev up your engine and melt away fat while improving your dance skills, posture, strength, flexibility and endurance.
Cardio Parade starts with a complete 15 minute warm-up that includes isolations and stretching. The class then devotes 30-35 minutes to learning short combinations danced in front of the mirror. Then the class concludes with a well-deserved cool down.

We emphasize the different dance movements and musical styles associated with carnival celebrations, from Soca, Merengue, and Salsa, to Samba, Konpa and hip-hop. Participants can always count on experiencing a fresh, inspirational workout that motivates them to reach their fitness goals.
